Llangors Lake, Brecon Beacons

Early morning sunrise at Llangors Lake. Early morning colours lit of the lake enough to make this image. A gentle mist has settled on the water top and the stillness of the wind had created those mirror perfect reflections. The view behind the Crannog is the distant central Brecon Beacons range, including Pen Y Fan, Cribyn and Corn Du.
An image that many years ago was printed in the BBC Countryfile calendar. The Lake can be a busy location in the morning or indeed at nighttime for astro photography.
