Autumn photography in the Brecon Beacons
£85.00
This scene is a familiar location within the Brecon Beacons. It is Pentwyn reservoir. One of many reservoirs throughout the park. However, Pentwyn is one of a few that offers the chance for reflections of Pen Y Fan.
A snow storm hit the peaks of the Brecon Beacons during early November, with the larches in full autumn colour. This makes a rather lovely autumnal scene. It is also a rare image, as snow and autumn colour in the Beacons happen infrequently. The summit of Pen Y Fan isn’t quite visible but Jacobs Ladder is. Jacobs ladder is a steep staircase descending from the summit of Pen Y Fan.
Size is 22×12 inches
