Sgwd Isaf Clun Gwyn waterfalls.

This image is of Sgwd Isaf Clun Gwyn. It is a waterfall in the heart of the Beacon Beacons National Park. This viewpoint looks down on the River Mellte, where it flows over this well photographed waterfall. The trail forms part of the famous four waterfalls trail. There are two very different views of this waterfall from opposite sides of the Mellte. Both are fantastic, one however is a little more adventurous than the other.

In spate this is perhaps one of the best and dramatic looking waterfalls in the UK.

It was announced as a runner up in the annual Outdoor Photographer of the year competition in February 2013.
