Dragons breath Brecon Beacons

Dragons Breath Brecon Beacons. The mighty River Usk winds its way down through the Beacons. As it winds through the hills it attracts an early morning mist which lingers over the river valleys. A beautiful sight and called locally Dragons breath. Mostly, the season to observe Dragons breathe is autumn.

On this occasion the mist started forming late in the afternoon. I headed for a local spot close to our cottage, which I knew gave a long reaching view down towards Pen y Fan. Mist and Blue hour are a perfect combination for photography. A delightful evening.
