Corn Du snow and spindrift in the Brecon Beacons

A view from the slopes of Pen Y Fan. On top of Pen Y Fan the Brecon Beacons showed their majesty with the long snow packed gullies stretching down the valleys towards Brecon and beyond. You can just make out the glacial Cwm of Craig Cerrig Gleisaid in the bottom right hand corner.
Inspiration
My inspiration for this photograph was Bradford Washburn. An early adventurer and pioneering aeriel photographer who photographed much of the USA. His photographs of the Alaskan wilderness are some of my personal favourites.
