Brecon Beacons

” I live and work within the Brecon Beacons regularly, commercially I photograph large and small business, but I also photograph outdoor sports for the largest outdoor adventure provider within the National Park. I have recently been commissioned by the Brecon Beacons National Park to produce a series of photographs  about the Black Mountains, in particular Offas Dyke. I also volunteer within the park as a volunteer warden. Based  within the waterfalls area of the park it is fair to say, I known the central Brecon Beacons very well”

The Brecon Beacons is a wonderful place to observe the changing seasons. From the harshness of winter; snow, ice and shivering temperatures, to the mellowing of the land in spring and the sound of nature waking up. Or enjoying the hazy summer months meandering amongst the hills and lowlands watching the landscape begin to bleed its colour palette from a velvia green to a burnt frosty autumnal red is a breathtaking treat, halcyon days indeed.

Neil is a husband and a dad for a wonderful nine year old, who spends a considerable portion of his time within the National Parks of Wales. Neils wife ran the mountain centre, so he is a frequent visitors to the many beautiful locations it keeps within it’s boundaries. Neil works all over Wales, the UK and overseas, having just returned from Norway, photographing the Aurora Borealis. Neil enjoys making photographs of people as well as the landscape and observing the reactions to my landscape and portrait work is still a precious moment and one which he takes great pleasure and huge satisfaction from everyday.

This page will highlight Neils latest work, personal projects and photographs not yet released for public sale.
